Casa de Hóspede estilosa em Greenpoint, Brooklyn

das appartement ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, glenn war ein unglaublich freundlicher gastgeber der uns extra eine route gemacht hat was man so in brooklyn entdecken kann und wo man essen gehen sollte. die gegend ist sehr schön und man kommt schnell mit der subway nach manhattan. wir werden immer wieder gern kommen!

Glenn ist sehr nett, locker und hilfsbereit. Allerdings sind die Bilder der Unterkunft sehr optimiert dargestellt. Bei uns war das Zimmer und das Bad einfach nicht sauber. Die Wände sind teils aus dünnen, angenagelten Plexiplatten und lassen die Tierwelt des angrenzenden Gartens durch die Fugen krabbeln. Unterm Strich war es eher wie ein etwas besseres Campingabenteuer, empfindlich sollte man also nicht sein (was wir nicht sind). In Relation zum guten Preis in NYC eventuell vertretbar (??)... Muss jeder selbst wissen.

Das Zimmer war OK, das Bad war sehr klein und eher nicht sauber. Die Bilder zeigen die Realitaet, sind aber schoener bzw. aufpoliert. Alles in allem OK, Preis/Leistung fuer Brooklyn war auch ok (man beachte Hotelpreise oder Hostelpreise), aber wir waren auch zu zweit. Waehrend unserem NYC Aufenthalt war es leider feucht, weshalb auch die Whg. feucht war. Glenn war waehrend unserem Aufenthalt nur kurz da, hat uns aber beim Warmwasser geholfen. Internet & Wifi gab es auch.

The room at Glenns guesthouse was spacious, light and clean. The bathroom was not clean, there was no vent and is was very small. There was most of the time no warm water. I could have mentioned this to Glenn, but haven't seen him during my stay. Mixed feelings about my stay. I loved New York and the neighborhood (Brooklyn) where the guesthouse was, but for 1 person the price for the room/facilities/service is not in proportion.

WOW! Eine tolle Wohnung bzw. ein tolles Zimmer. Glenn ist super nett und Greepoint als Stadtteil super. Man ist schnell in Williamsburg und auch Manhattan ist nicht weit. Die Area (polnisches Viertel) ist safe und überall gibt es nette Cafes und Restaurants. Die Zimmer waren für New Yorker Verhältnisse groß, sauber und absolut ruhig. Der Garten ist ein Traum und jeder, der New York kennt, weiß, welch ein Luxus das ist...ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Thanks Glenn for this perfect stay!!

We liked the room. Both the room and the bathroom where not clean. There was no opportunity to keep it clean ourselves. The neighbourhood was ok, but the subway connection was difficult. Luckely the ferry connection was good (but more expensive). The welcome was nice, but we pitty that we didn't see or hear the host anymore.

A good stay.

We had a great time in NY staying at this place. A perfect stay to see the city, friendly welcome, clean and very relaxed, close to restaurants, café's, the subway and ferry. You have to share the bathroom with one other room, but you have a good room with enough space and privacy yourself. We enjoyed it very much!

We liked the neighborhood and the ferry which is quite close to the appartment. The room felt different to the photos shown on the website (now the photos match!). The bathroom is shared between two appartments, is pretty small and gets a bit dirty after a couple of days.
