OUR HOUSE is a lovely little one bedroom town house that's nicely furnished in a contemporary style. The house is open plan with a white modern kitchen fitted with all the usual appliances and there's a relaxing dining area. The sitting room has a great comfy sofa and a separate sofa bed with french doors opening onto the patio garden. The bathroom has a bath and shower and it's modern with limestone tiles and underfloor heating.
THE GARDEN - Pretty private patio garden with large palm trees, Olivia the olive tree and wisteria surrounding the front door and window. There is designated off street parking next to the house.
Wi-fi, TV, Hairdryer, Bed Linen and Towels are supplied.
LOCATED: In a quiet little paved road and within close proximity of Wandsworth Common and Bellevue Road with its Cafes, Restaurants and Designer shops. Wandsworth Common train line with easy access to Victoria (12 minutes), Clapham Junction & Waterloo station. Bus nearby to Kings Road Chelsea and the nearest tube is Tooting Bec. Wimbledon is approximately a 12 -15 minute journey by car.
CONVENIENCE STORES: Local Sainsbury's and Local Convenience store & Deli.
OLYMPIC PARK: Access to the park would take approximately 50 minutes from the nearby station of Wandsworth Common. There are frequent direct overground trains from Clapham Junction (1 stop away) to Stratford where the Olympic Park is located.
WHERE TO EAT:
This area is offers lots of places to eat within walking distance of the house.
We have the very famous Chez Bruce restaurant, winner of many Prestigious awards serving beautiful food in a relaxed setting. Brinkley's Wine bar - It has a very welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere and serves very good food. There are plenty of cafes and some lovely designer clothes shops and a good english pub. Or check out the local Deli and buy some picnic food and sit in the Local Park watching the ducks.

We will always try to accommodate you and be flexible with these times. So please let us know if you need to make a different arrangement.
We can accommodate an extra person if you don't mind all being in one room. More ideal for a child.
A checkout cleaning is included. Please just leave the house tidy.

OUR GUESTS: We have had some lovely guests at our house and we've always received a positive response. People really enjoy the quietness of the location and the availability of a great variety of restaurants and bars and the easy access to central London.
GETTING HERE: Location: Wandsworth Common
If you are taking a train here then book your TAXI BEFORE you get on the train from Victoria Station -TAXI journey to the house is about 5 minutes and walking is about 12-15 minutes. We suggest a taxi due to luggage but it is walkable (see below for Taxi Numbers)

TRAINS
LONDON VICTORIA STATION:
3 Stops = Battersea Park, Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Common
LONDON WATERLOO STATION: 2 Stops to Clapham Junction - change - 1 stop to Wandsworth Common
St PANCRASS INTERNATIONAL & KINGS CROSS STATION
Take the Victoria tube line to Victoria - Go to Victoria Train station - take a train to Wandsworth Common
GATWICK AIRPORT: Take train towards London Victoria, change at Clapham Junction = 3 stops (Redhill, East Croydon, Clapham Junction) Take a train to Wandsworth Common = 1 Stop. Takes approximately 40 minutes
HEATHROW: There are a few different ways to get here:
1. THE TUBE: Piccadilly line to South Kensington tube station. Change. Take either District or Circle line to Victoria( 2 stops) . Walk to London Victoria Train Station(3 minutes). Take a train to Wandsworth Common - (3 stops) = Battersea Park, Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Common
2. Take Paddington Express(quick train into London Paddington) Change: Take the Tube- District or Circle Line to London Victoria train station and then the train Wandsworth Common.
TUBE: Northern Line to Tooting Bec - Approximately a 15 minute walk to the house.
BUS: 319: Take this bus from Sloane Square to Trinity Road. An 8 minute walk to the house.

WALKING FROM WANDSWORTH COMMON STATION. (Directions - if you are coming from central London stations)
Alight from the train and go up the steps & over the bridge to the other side.
Go through the exit facing you when you get to the bottom of the stairs.
Walk for a minute and you will see a large pub on the corner called 'The Hope' walk towards that and walk along the parade of shops (Bellevue Rd) up to the end of the row of shops. Brinkleys bar is on the corner.
Cross over Trinity road and walk down Burntwood Rd, Turn 1st Left onto Beechcroft Rd
Turn 1st Right into College Gardens and walk to the end of the Rd.
Turn Left and 1st Left into St Anthony's close.
Sounds far but it actually takes about 12-15 minutes
