Schöne zentral gelegene Wohnung mit einer tollen Küchenausstattung

Wir waren in der ersten Osterwoche 2013 bei Immy zu Gast. Das Appartment ist für fünf Personen ausreichend mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einer Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Die Wände innerhalb des Appartments sind etwas hellhörig, von den Nachbarn haben wir allerdings nichts mitbekommen. Das Bad ist modern und geräumig, hat sich bei so vielen Leuten für uns allerdings als Engpass erwiesen. Die Küche ist funktional eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Die Heizung hat nicht immer so funktioniert wie wir wollten und zeitweise war es ein bisschen kalt. Da wir aber die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren, hat das nicht weiter gestört. Was die Ausstattung sonst so betrifft, so hat man gesehen, dass wir nicht die ersten Bewohner waren. Das ein oder andere war defekt oder kapputt und müsste repariert werden., Das Appartment liegt in den Docklands etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums. Allerdings ist die Royal Victoria Haltestelle der DLR Direkt vor der Haustür, so dass wir keine Probleme hatten, ins Stadtzentrum zu kommen.. Auf der Rückseite des Hauses befindet sich die Emirates Airline, eine Gondel zum anderen Ufer der Themse. Der London City Airport ist nicht unweit vom Appartment entfernt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein Supermarkt, der 24h geöffnet hat, in dem man sich sehr gut mit Lebensmitteln versorgen kann. Immy ist ein prima Gastgeber, der auch zwischendurch mal nach unserem Befinden gefragt hat. Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthaltes in London sehr wohl gefühlt.

We really enjoyed our stay in London at Immy's place!! We stayed there with five people and there was plenty of room for all of us. All was fully equipped and made us feel very comfortable. Royal Victoria station is just across the building (a one minute walk) and there is a supermarket (Tesco), also only a minute walking distance. Immy had been a really nice host, we'd love to come back!! :)

Perfect experience, the apartment is all that we expect and fit all our needs. The communication with Immy was good and he was really fast to help us with our stade. As a comment, it was quite difficult to find the flat, that information can be improved. If needed, we will repeat!

We rented the apartment as a basecamp for business at the Excel expo and meetings in central London. The location is very convenient for both. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the Excel Expo from the apartment and a 25-40minute DLR/Tube ride from the apartment to central London. It was clean and organized. There are a few grocery stores and restaurants just within a minute walk. It is a peaceful place to stay and there are some nice runs/walks around the Docklands. We will stay there again.

Wie mieteten die Wohnung für einen kurzen London-Trip. Wichtig war uns eine gute Anbindung an die City, die hier gegeben ist. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet und auch für einen längeren Auftenthalt geeignet. Die Doppelbetten sind französiche (ca. max.160 cm breit) und für lärmempfindliche ist die nahe Zugtrasse gewöhnungbedürftig.

Prima en ruim appartement, goed geoutillerde keuken, mooie badkamer. Enige minpuntje is dat de WC niet apart is. Goed bereikbaar, recht tegenover DLR-station Royal Victoria. Treingeluiden wennen snel.

Nice and clean apartment. Perfectly situated and a perfect host in Immy. Very easy to get to central London by DLR and not so difficult to reach with car from the airport either. My family with 3 children had a very nice time here. After spending our days in the central parts of London it was nice to get back to this peaceful and beautyful area, in no time with the DLR, in the evening.
