We had expected a privatly owned room, as we wanted not only to have a sleep over there, but also some contact to the locals. Upon arrival we were let in and welcomed by an italian Girl who spoke pretty poor English and didn't know anything about the agreements that were made between the "Flatowner" and us. The room was definitely not the one we had seen and booked on Wimdu. We had booked a fully furnished private room, what we got presented was a lumberoom-like tiny something with just a bed (which was the only good thing after all) a super-chiefly table, closet and dresser. The door lock was in such a bad ramshakle condition that we didn't feel safe, neither for us nor for our stuff... On top of it all the bed linen smelled really disgusting frowsty. The fotos that you see now are the fotos of the room we got in real (as we booked it - there were totally different pictures of an inhabited room. The house has 2 Floors with 3 rooms each floor, one bathroom each floor and a Kitchen in the first floor. All the rooms are rented to students or tourists or whomsoever, so No Family, NO Privacy, NO Contact!!! Just a place to sleep. After we complained about all the issues we got changed to anoher room: a bit bigger, with a bit better doorlock and at least with OK-smelling bed linen. Well... enough for the emotional part... The facts: - Location: good for our purposes (sightseeing) - Tube Station only 1-2 minutes away, supermarkets and some food places just around the corner - Rooms: very meagre furnished,only sunblinds on the windows, not really clean and cosy - Bed: was the only really good thing in the room - good firm matrasses strong bed, but unfresh and unironed bed linen - Bathroom: pretty new tiles but pretty untidy, 3 Rooms shared one bathroom, so sometimes you had to wait for pretty long time - Kitchen: was enough for our purposes (brakfast and eating of take away food) - The Manager of the place (Giovanni) was really nice and tried to change what he could after we complained, but the "wrong" picture to the room was still there even after we told them about that... :( Now it seems to have been changed to the real one :) All in all: we won't stay there again, but if you just need a place to sleep not far from the tube - go for it!

We recommend this accomodation because of the ideal position: you can choose to reach the center by tube, a couple of stops, or reach the southbank with a pleasant five minustes walk along the Queens Walk. Nearby we found all the commodities we needed, shops, pubs, restaurants. The house itself has comfortable clean rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and spacious clean bathrooms. All that you can ask for!

L' alloggio era come descritto: situato in zona centrale ma tranquilla, difatti abbiamo dormito benissimo, benservito dai mezzi a non più di 200 metri dalla metropolitana. Inoltre ringraziamo Giovanni per la cortese disponibilità con cui ci ha accolto

A super friendly place to stay at a super duper price... The accommodation was beautifully maintained and considering the location & price to the highest of standards. Giovanni's friends who let us in super friendly and I can not recommend this place highly enough.. Best place to stay in London without a doubt..

tolle Lage--- alles erreichbar per Fuss oder per Tube; bequemes Doppelbett, alles ordentlich und sauber; unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken.
