North Sea Family Apartment "Neptunus" in Scheveningen-Beach

The costs are including clean bedlinen, towels, tea towels, heating, and electricity. There is a fixed fee for end cleaning. The use of bicycles, children seat and bed, street maps, or a city tour by the owners at no extra charge. The apartment is located on the first floor of the Neptunusstraat No 13 in The Hague.

Arrival
You can arrive during the afternoon or evening, after 14:00h, when the cleaning lady is finished with her work. Please inform the owner if you plan to arrive later than 23:00h. You will receive a code number with which you can open the front door by yourself.

Noise
The house is over 100 years old. Despite all the renovation and insulation, the house can be noisy if you make loud music or jump. Therefore, think about the neighbors and avoid noise.

No smoking or open fireSafety
The apartment may be used by the predetermined number of guests. Additional guests may not stay overnight in the house without consulting the landlord. It is not allowed to smoke indoors (fire brigade restriction). In several places in the house there are smoke and heat detectors, keep this in mind when you are cooking. Press the reset button if the smoke detector goes off unfairly. Candles should be lit only after consultation in a stable candleholder.

Environment
Be environmentally conscious: turn off the lights and the heating off at departure, be economical ith water and care for waste paper, glass and plastic. Report any damage to the property or equipment directly to the landlord. Please also contact me as soon as possible if the central heating or warm water is not working properly.

Bikes
Guests can use the bikes. They are parked in front of the house, next to the bench, where you can sit outside in the afternoon to enjoy the sun. The keys of the bikes can be found in the basket on the stairs.

Garden
If you would like to use the garden, you can. The backyard is only accessible from the ground floor (apartment Aegir), so please ask me (the landlord) for the key.

Wireless Internet (WiFi)
In all the house there is wireless internet. You will find the codes for the wifi in the basket on the stairs. Please contact the owner if it is not possible to connect to the Internet. Feel free ask if you need to use a computer or desk phone.

Departure
On the day of departure the apartment will be cleaned in the morning after 10:30h. In the afternoon new guests may arrive. So please make sure to leave the house before 10:30h. You leave the garbage in a plastic bag packaging in the kitchen. Glass and paper can be dumped across the street in the underground container used for recycling. When leaving, you can leave the key in the door of the apartment or dispose the key in the mailbox.
